Refund Policy

1. Digital Product Policy

WanwuApp is a digital service that provides AI-powered entertainment through immediate access to conversation features. As a digital product, once you have accessed and used the Service, we generally do not offer refunds.

No Refund After Use: Due to the nature of digital services, once you have used the Service (including generating AI personalities, having conversations, or accessing any paid features), refunds are not available. This policy is in place because digital products cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical problems that prevent you from accessing the Service, and we are unable to resolve these issues within 24 hours of your report, you may be eligible for a refund.
  • Duplicate Charges: If you are accidentally charged multiple times for the same purchase, we will refund the duplicate charges.
  • Unauthorized Purchase: If your payment method was used without your authorization, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and may issue a refund if the purchase is confirmed to be unauthorized.

Note: Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the original purchase date. Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are explicitly non-refundable:

  • Change of mind after using the Service
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content or responses
  • Failure to understand how the Service works
  • Accidental purchases (if the Service has been accessed)
  • Expiration of unused conversation credits
  • Service access suspension or termination due to violation of Terms of Service

4. Refund Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the circumstances outlined in Section 2, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at hello@wanwuapp.xyz with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your order ID or transaction ID
    • The email address used for the purchase
    • A detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund
    • Any relevant screenshots or documentation
  3. We will review your request within 5-7 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10-14 business days

5. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds or service credits instead of full refunds. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis and communicated to you during the refund review process.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting us, your service access may be suspended or terminated. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback.
